UTSA Football

The Alamodome is the home of UTSA Football, which plays as an NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) member in Conference USA. The Roadrunners defeated Northeastern State, 31-3, on Sept. 3, 2011, in their first-ever game at the Alamodome. UTSA set NCAA startup program records for inaugural game (56,743) and average home (35,521) attendance that season. The Roadrunners are led by Frank Wilson, who was hired as the program’s second head coach on Jan. 15, 2016.
