Fans Attending Should Plan Ahead and Arrive Early

SAN ANTONIO (June 30, 2025) – A large crowd is expected Saturday, July 5, when global superstar Shakira brings her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to the Alamodome. The concert, rescheduled after being postponed in early June, highlights a busy holiday weekend in downtown San Antonio.

Fans are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Doors to the Alamodome will open at 5:30 p.m.

Parking will be limited at the Alamodome, but there are numerous parking and transportation options available for fans. They include:

  • Alamodome parking lots B and C will open at 2 p.m. and is $60 per space – first-come, first-served, credit card only. Suite-holders will park in Lot C. Lot A is for ADA parking and ADA drop-offs and pick-ups only.
  • VIA Metropolitan Transit’s Park & Ride takes place to and from VIA’s Crossroads (151 Crossroads Blvd., 78201) and Brooks (7903 S. New Braunfels Ave., 78235) locations. For this event, the Frost Bank Center (1 Frost Bank Center Dr., 78219) will also be utilized.
    •  Cost for the service, which begins at 5:30 p.m., is $1.30 each way with discounts for students and seniors from the Frost Bank Center and Crossroads locations. Additionally, VIA will honor its reduced fare program. There will be no charge for Park & Ride at the Brooks site.
    •  Parking at Crossroads, Brooks and the Frost Bank Center is free. For information, visit the VIA website
  • Reserve off-site parking through ParkWhiz by Flash. ParkWhiz, which controls 29 lots within a five-mile radius of the Alamodome, allows guests to book and prepay for parking online through the “Know Before You Go” section of alamodome.com and through Ticketmaster at checkout. Prices vary depending on proximity to the venue.
  • Ride share is available to and from the Alamodome. The dedicated ride-share drop-off and pick-up location is Lot D, on the west side of IH 37/Highway 281 between the Tower of the Americas and the Institute of Texan Cultures.
  • There is also available downtown parking at other city garages. For locations and information, visit the CCDO website.

In advance of the 5:30 p.m. doors opening for the Shakira concert, the exterior north H-E-B Plaza opens at 4 p.m. Additionally, the Floor Level Lounge for floor level patrons opens at 5 p.m., available through the entrance on Montana Street.
