Savannah Bananas to Play at Alamodome in September of 2027

SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 15, 2026) — The Savannah Bananas tonight announced that they will face the Texas Tailgaters at the Alamodome in downtown San Antonio on Friday, Sept. 10 and Saturday, Sept. 11. The Tailgaters have played in front of sold-out crowds the past two years at Nelson Wolff Stadium, but this marks the Bananas’ first visit to San Antonio.

The Bananas are one of six Banana Ball teams who will compete in the 2027 Banana Ball World Tour. The Tailgaters previously hosted the Party Animals and the Loco Beach Coconuts in San Antonio in 2025 and 2026 respectively.

Fans wanting tickets must register for the Bananas’ Ticket Lottery List at bananaball.com before it closes on October 31st, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Joining the list doesn’t guarantee the opportunity to buy tickets. A random drawing will take place before the event for the chance to purchase available tickets. If a fan is drawn, they’ll be contacted directly with next steps.
