Post Malone at the Alamodome
Fans are encouraged to arrive early!
SAN ANTONIO (May 6, 2025) — A crowd of at least 40,000 fans is expected Wednesday, May 7, when global superstar Post Malone brings “The BIG ASS Stadium Tour” to the Alamodome. The concert, which also includes Jelly Roll and special guest Sierra Ferrell, begins at 6:30 p.m.
Parking at the Alamodome will be limited, so the City of San Antonio encourages fans heading downtown for the concert to arrive early or take advantage of VIA Metropolitan Transit’s Park & Ride, ride-share or the option to reserve nearby off-site parking through ParkWhiz from Flash. ParkWhiz allows Alamodome guests to book and prepay for parking online at multiple downtown locations through the “Know Before You Go” section of alamodome.com and through Ticketmaster at checkout.
The VIA Park & Ride option takes place to and from VIA’s Crossroads (151 Crossroads Blvd., 78201) location. Cost for the service, which begins at 4:30 p.m., is $1.30 each way with discounts for students and seniors. Parking at Crossroads is free. For information, visit the VIA website.
Alamodome drop-off location is on Montana St. under the H-E-B Plaza at the VIA terminal.
The Alamodome will open its doors at 5:30 p.m. for the concert. Parking lots open at 2:00 p.m. and the H-E-B Plaza opens at 3:30 p.m. for early shopping and food and beverage availability.
Traffic may also be affected by the “Awaken the Fallen” concert tour, featuring Staind and Breaking Benjamin, occurring at the same time at the Frost Bank Center.
