University Health System Signs on as Alamodome Star Partner in Multiyear Agreement
The Alamodome has announced a multiyear sponsorship agreement with University Health System, one of San Antonio’s top healthcare providers. The sponsorship deal follows the Alamodome’s near-$60 million infrastructure project intended to improve the in-venue experience for all fans.
“The Alamodome is an iconic San Antonio landmark and an important community resource,” said Leni Kirkman, University Health System’s senior vice president of Strategic Communications and Patient Relations. “We are thrilled to partner with the City of San Antonio to help elevate the consumer experience for all types of events, and support the Alamodome’s strategic goals. Through this partnership, we will be able to bring experts and exhibits out to the Alamodome to help families learn what they can do to improve their health and prevent serious injuries. We’re also sponsoring an initiative to expand healthy eating options at the Alamodome.”
“I am pleased to announce University Health System as an Alamodome Star Partner,” said Nick Langella, Alamodome General Manager. “It is an honor for the Alamodome to partner with a company committed to making a difference in so many people’s lives. We look forward to working with University Health System in promoting a healthier lifestyle during Alamodome events.”
University Health System’s partnership will contain prominent signage on the South Plaza, now ‘University Health System Plaza’, and within the South Entrance, which has been renamed ‘University Health System Gate’. Additionally, University Health System will have branding throughout the concourses and within the inner-bowl, inclusive of static and digital branding on the new LED ribbon boards and scoreboards.
