Services for the Disabled
Parking
There are 55 designated Disability Access (DA) spaces available at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis for vehicles with a valid Disabled Person ID placard (blue or red) or license plate. These spaces are located in Lot A (See map below)
After the 55 DA spaces have filled, any spaces that can be made available for DA parking in Lot A will be charged the event parking rate. For larger attendance events, there will be a designated Disabled Overflow area which will be made available to people with a Disabled ID placard or license plate at the prevailing event rate.
Drop-Off/Pick-up
There is no charge for dropping-off or picking-up in Lot A. Even when the parking lots have filled up, the Drop-Off area in Lot A will be available for vehicles with a Disabled Person ID placard or license plate. Please enter Lot A off the frontage road entrance. Alamodome staff is not allowed to assist unloading/loading of passengers. All transfers from the vehicle will be the responsibility of the persons in the vehicle.
Directions to disabled parking in Lot A
- IH-37 South: vehicle will take the Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. exit, turn left on Cesar E. Chavez Blvd., and veer right onto taxi/limo lane. Continue around curve to Lot A entrance.
- IH-37 North: vehicle will take the Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. exit, turn right on Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. and veer right onto taxi/limo lane. Continue around curve to Lot A entrance.
- From Lot B: vehicle will exit Lot B and turn right on Cherry St. and take a right on Florida and right onto IH-37 North, take the Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. exit, turn right on Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. and veer right onto the taxi/limo lane. Continue around curve to entrance to Lot A
- From Lot C: vehicle will exit Lot C and turn left on Cherry St., take a left on Commerce St. and left onto Alamo, turn left on Cesar E. Chavez Blvd., and veer right onto the taxi/limo lane. Continue around curve to entrance to Lot A.
