Arts SA Presents The Nutcracker featuring Meija Ballet International
Prima Ballerinas Olga Pavlova and Marina Goshko and Principal Dancers Yevgeni Anfinogenov and Andrey Prikhodko will star in ARTS San Antonios presentation of Tchaikovskys The Nutcracker. Born in Moscow, Russia, and a graduate of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Prima Ballerina Olga Pavlova is hailed as The New Pavlova by Dance magazine, referring to the famous Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova. Marina Goshko, Russian native, graduated from the Buryat State Choreographic School. She became a soloist with the Moscow Classical Ballet. This production of The Nutcracker is choreographed and directed by Paul Mejia, founder of Mejia Ballet International and a former principal dancer under George Balanchine at New York City Ballet.
